The narrator voice of Adriano Giannini leads to the discovery of Magister Canova at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia in Venice.

After entrusting the narration of Magister Giotto (2017) to Luca Zingaretti, Adriano Giannini will accompany, step by step, the spectator to the discovery of Magister Canova.
The Italian actor, who also reads some of young Canova’s letters, recounts his participation in the project with these words: “It was an engaging project, and also a formative and educational one on a personal level. It gave me an opportunity to re-read the Neoclassical period, to have a chance to go back and really study the life and works of Canova. It was the first time I had an experience of this kind and I am honoured to have been a part of a team that works on such an interesting and innovative project, side by side with the great composer Giovanni Sollima and the great artist Fabrizio Plessi.”
Magister Canova is the second act of a trilogy that will round off in 2018 with Magister Raffaello. The exhibition has been created with a scientific committee with a high international profile and the collaboration of the Fondazione Canova Gypsotheca and Museo Antonio Canova di Possagno.
