Privacy and Cookies Policy

This Policy Statement is provided in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation, EU 2016/679 (art. 13) and subsequent amendments and/or additions thereto, as well as in compliance with applicable national laws or regulations on the processing of personal data (“Privacy Law”), so as to ensure that the processing of personal data takes place by respecting the rights and freedom of the data subjects, with special regard to the protection of personal data; in particular, this Policy Statement describes the management and processing modalities adopted for the personal data of the users who access and visit the Magister Art website (hereinafter, the “Site”).

Data Controller

The Data Controller is Magister Art S.r.l., a company with registered office in via San Simpliciano 5, Milan, Italy.

Types of data

Navigation data

In the course of their normal use, the IT systems and the software procedures employed to operate the Site acquire personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the Internet communication protocols.

Though this information is not collected to be associated with identifiable data subjects, on account of its very nature, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, it could make it possible to identify the users concerned. This data category includes the IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by the users who visit the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time when the requests are submitted, the method used to submit the requests to the server, the size of the files obtained in reply, the numerical codes indicating the status of the reply from the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the browser of the user. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to verify its proper functioning. Once processed, this data is erased. This data may also be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Data collected from the compilation of a form on the Site

The information concerning the users who compile the form (including name, surname and e-mail) is collected by Magister Art to meet specific user requests.

Purposes of the processing

The data collected is processed by Magister Art to fulfil the requests received from a user and carry out all the activities necessary or useful to enable the user to access and visit the Site, as well as for purposes strictly connected with the fulfilment of the specific requests arising from the compilation of the form.

In this case, the provision of personal data is required and failure to enter the information marked as required may prevent the Data Controller from providing the assistance requested.

Processing and communication modalities

The personal data collected is processed by the persons in charge who need to know the data as a function of their jobs and by external subjects authorised by the Data Controller, who process the data, with or without the use of electronic instruments, according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency, in a way that will ensure security and confidentiality.

The data could be transferred to a third country based on the European Commission’s decisions on adequacy or based on the guarantees provided for by the applicable regulations. The personal data collected will not be disclosed to any third party.

Retention period

The personal data collected is stored by the Data Controller for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data was requested and processed and, in any event, for no longer than the maximum time period specified by the applicable regulations.

Rights of the data subjects

By sending an e-mail to info@magister.art, the data subjects can exercise all the rights provided for by the Privacy Law, including i) right of access (to know the origin of the data, the purposes and modalities of the processing, the details of the Controller and other persons in charge or to whom the data may be communicated) ii) right to rectification (to have their data updated and rectified) iii) right to erasure iv) right to restriction of processing iv) right to revoke their consent and right to object to the processing of their data.
