On the occasion of Magister Canova, Giovanni Sollima has composed the soundtrack of the first multimedia exhibition in the world dedicated to the great sculptor of Neoclassicism.
Sollima, a world-class cellist, has written for the cinema, the theatre, the television and the dance. He has also presented - both solo and as part of a group - his music in the major theaters and auditoriums in the world.
For Magister Canova, he has specifically composed and interpreted the musical dramaturgy that, together with Adriano Giannini’s narration, the extraordinary participation of Fabrizio Plessi and the contribution of a scientific committee with a high international profile, accompanies the visitors through environments of major perceptive impact, scenographic reconstructions and deceptive views.
