MOSAICO

The world tour of MOSAICO. Italian code of a timeless art continues in the United States of America. Thanks to the support of the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco and the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco, the exhibition will stop in Salt Lake City from 20 February to 31 May 2025.

The storytelling and discovery of Italy’s mosaic heritage will be hosted by The Leonardo Museum, a dynamic space created to fuse science, technology, and art into experiences that inspire creativity, and innovation and ignite learning in people of all ages and backgrounds, so that they can feel included, inspired, and connected to each other and the world.

The occasion was marked by the graceful presence of special guests, such as Nobel Laureate Mario Capecchi, the Utah State Director for International Trade and Diplomacy Franz Kolb, the Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall, City Council members, comic book artist Salvatore “Sal” Velluto and other prominent members of the Salt Lake City Italian and Italian-American community.
