The world tour of Mosaico. Italian code of a timeless art continues after its inauguration in Santiago de Chile and arrives in Mexico at Cabañas Museum in Guadalajara from November 23rd. The second stage of the exhibition is promoted by the Italian Embassy in Mexico, the Italian Institute of Culture in Mexico, theGovernment of Jalisco, the Secretaría de Cultura and the Cabañas Museum.

The exhibition takes place within the important institutional context of the International Book Fair (FIL), one of the most significant cultural events in Latin America, scheduled from November 25th to December 3rd. This year the guest of honour is the European Union: a perfect representation of the happy coexistence between pluralities of cultures, within which the mosaic becomes the symbol of union, plurality and integration.

The main venue of the Cabañas Museum is inside the Hospicio Cabañas, which, due to its architectural beauty and historical and cultural relevance, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. Since 1980, the rooms of the present-day museum have been officially redesigned to host exhibitions of local and international artists, conferences, workshops, and round tables conceived for the public.
