Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado | Brazil
28.10.2021 – 12.12.2021
Reaching the sixth destination of its world tour, the Magister Raffaello exhibition opens at the Brazilian Art Museum of the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, thanks to the Consulate of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute and with the support of Panini.
Again, Italian art meets the Brazilian public in an exceptional location. FAAP was created to fulfil the will of Armando Álvares Penteado (1884-1947), a Brazilian entrepreneur and patron, who shared a passion for art with his wife. In his will, Armando instructed his wife to sell part of his estate to establish an art school, which would also house a “picture gallery for the exhibition of original paintings”. In 1961, the Brazilian Art Museum (MAB) was inaugurated, specializing in Brazilian art and which today also hosts international exhibitions such as Magister Raffaello.
The sticker album Magister Raffaello was created thanks to an idea of the Italian Consulate in São Paulo, in collaboration with the famous Italian company Panini. The sticker album is based on the contents of our exhibition Magister Raffaello (28.10.2021 - 12.12.2021), held at FAAP, Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in Sao Paolo, to encourage kids to learn about Raphael and Italian art.
