At the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli, on the occasion of the exhibition “Canova e l’antico”, C+ by Magister: two installation, between emotion and knowledge, devoted to the greatest artist of Neoclassicism.

On the occasion of the impressive exhibition on Canova and Antiquity at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (28 March - 30 June 2019), C+ by Magister is offering the public the opportunity to enjoy an intense journey among the works of the greatest interpreter of Neoclassicism. This journey takes one from micro to macro, from the butterfly in Cupid and Psyche to the giant Hercules who is hurling Lichas into the sea, to the great mythological figures, sculptured from white marble, to the polychrome tempera paintings on a dark background, dedicated to the world of dance. The installations have been designed and produced by Magister Art and set up on two complex platforms with a diameter of 6 meters each. The visitors have an experience that is rich in details and narrations, dedicated to one of the most engaging creative processes of the history of European sculpture. The voice of Adriano Giannini accompanies the public along a path that offers entertainment, emotion and also information, and the original soundtrack has been written by the composer and cellist Giovanni Sollima. C+ by Magister is a new variation of Magister Canova, an exhibition that was presented in Venice in 2018 and that was the result of rigorous research by Mario Guderzo and Giuliano Pisani and by the scientific committee consisting of Giuseppe Pavanello, Steffi Roettgen, Johannes Myssok and Andrea Bellieni, who collaborated closely with Luca Mazzieri and Alessandra Costantini, the artistic and creative directors, with the creative supervision of Renato Saporito.

C+ by Magister is a new expression of Magister Canova, a project designed and produced by Magister Art.

Magister is the innovative exhibition format designed and produced by Magister Art, with the aim of promoting beauty by enhancing the Italian cultural heritage and revitalising it in a contemporary way
