04.05.2021 - 04.08.2021
The augmented narrative of the site-specific Magister Raffaello format, implemented by means of technological and multimedia tools, and displayed in 4K resolution at the Parque Guanajuato Bicentenario, presents a journey through the life of the great master from Urbino, a journey that unfolds in the cities where Raphael was commissioned his most significant works. Through an immersive experience in the historical, cultural and artistic context of the Italian Renaissance, visitors will be able to gain in-depth insight into the masterpieces on display through a “total” cognitive experience that amplifies and stimulates all their perceptive faculties.
The site-specific Magister Raffaello exhibition is promoted by the Government of the State of Guanajuatothrough the Secretariat for Tourism and the Parque Guanajuato Bicentenario, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Mexico City.
The Parque Guanajuato Bicentenario was built on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Independence and the centenary of the Mexican Revolution. It covers 14 hectares and thanks to its strategic position at the heart of Mexico, between the cities of Guanajuato, Silao and León, it is renowned as a venue for national and international events.
Despite the difficulties of a slow return to normality after the health emergency, the exhibition was a great success, registering 25.545 visitors in just three months.
